Cuyahoga County Mayors’ Secretaries and Assistants - Tango Lessons for the Renaissance of Femininity

October 12, 2006

Cuyahoga County Mayors' Secretaries and Assistants - 10/12/06
Tango Lessons for the Renaissance of Femininity

Dr. Tango presented during a dinner meeting ways for CCMSA members to:

  • Recognize and appreciate the feminine flavors of leadership and collaboration.
  • Celebrate the diversity of female roles and images.
  • Abolish the fear of being authentic and feminine, while escaping the female brand of narcissism, which confines us to "dance as though we have 90% of the accountability."

The audience learned unique and memorable business and life lessons on female roles in leadership, communication and teamwork, both in and outside the office.

Jeannette also demonstrated that it doesn't necessarily "take two to tango." By mastering the steps alone and becoming stronger at your core and axis, you become a better dance partner. The same can be said of women in career and family roles.

What is business but a dance between two companies?
What is life but a dance between people?
