The Women's Empowerment Board, a Cleveland non-profit group devoted to enriching the lives of needful women, presented its second annual fundraising event June 4 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Cleveland Botanical Garden.

WEB's Tea & Tango social benefited the Women's Center of Greater Cleveland. The Center provides opportunities for women to take greater control of their lives physically, emotionally and economically.

The Tea & Tango program included a luncheon inside the Garden, a silent auction, best hat contest and a presentation by WEB founder and WKYC-TV 3 morning news personality, Jacque Smith.

Dr. Jeannette Potts, a Cleveland Clinic urologist also known as Dr. Tango, provided the finale with a few words from her workshop "Tango Lessons for the Renaissance of Femininity," followed by a special dance with two of her local partners. Read more...
